The College of Education and Human Development is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teachers Education (NCATE); approved by the Texas Education Agency; delivers All-Level Texas teaching certification and professional certification for counselors, principals, and superintendents; accredited by the State Board of Educator Certification for its Educator Preparation Program (EPP) and has a 96% summary pass rate for all certification tests. The Family and Consumer Science Dietetics Program and Dietetic Internship Program is Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetics. Programs in the College of Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. In the College of Business, graduate programs are accredited by the International Association for Management Education. Programs in Social Work are approved by the Council on Social Work Education; programs in Speech-Language Pathology and in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and in Deaf Education by the National Council for Education of the Deaf and the Texas Education Agency. Other accreditations include Nursing by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission; Chemistry by the American Chemical Society; Geology by the American Institute of Professional Geologists; and Music by the National Association of Schools of Music.
